What is Homeschool

Hallo blessed homeschoolers :) What do you think about homeschool? What do you think about people reactions about homeschoolers? People might be wondering about what is and how is homeschool: what was homeschool, how were homeschoolers, how they learn and how how how how... what... what... what... everything! In the page "What is Homeschool", we used to explain about what homeschool is, to all of the blessed readers.

Homeschool word came from the words "Home" and "school" which means 'schooling at home'. Actually, 'schooling' at home means more like learning at home. But homeschool doesn`t take school into our home, because there are few significant things distinguished homeschool and public/formal school. It`s meaning was directing to "education at home"

When people heard the word "education", what would emerge in their head? Probably they thought of school. Yes, school. School is a place to reach education, but school is not the one and only. There are so many ways to be an educational person. One of them was homeschool. For us, homeschool is also pretty good for students.
We have reasons for that, but before giving out them, we would to explain what is homeschool. Our explanations obviously unperfect, still. But don`t worry, with this blog, we could share and learn, and teach each other. What a great idea?

Homeschooling means learning at home. But this is absolutely different with the public school. We aren`t bringing school to home. We used to get the educations. It doesn`t mean homeschooler stayed in home everyday, never going out for social. No, that`s totally wrong. Our principle is to learn from life and everything. Homeschoolers might learn from books, movies, experiences, and others. Homeschoolers might learn everywhere, at home, at the public places, nature... Yes, everywhere! And homeschoolers actually had so many teachers. Homeschoolers have parents, private teachers to invite or coach in the course centre, nature, families, friends, books, movies, places, experiences, and everything could be the teachers. These statements are based on the principle "learn from life and everything" Do you know? This principle of homeschool also could be proceeded by public schoolers and everybody. Right?

Next, we would to answer some frequently-asked questions :D But, we only answer the basic questions which you can answer more questions with these answers only. 

1. What method can we use?

There are so many methods of education which can be applied in our homeschool. There are methods based on religion, or the methods of experienced practicioners. There`s no compulsory method for homeschoolers. The author of this blog, used the method based on interest and akhlaq or attitude.

2. What curriculum we can use? 

Same like the methods, there are so many curriculums. Curriculum of homeschoolers was flexible, we are able to choose any match curriculum. Even we could be unuse any curriculum or make our own curriculum.

3. What homeschoolers do?

Learning of course, and play. These are fullfilling everybody`s needs. Homeschoolers also could have projects to do and practice what they`ve learnt.
